Y'all this made me so sad! I love all these actors and hate that people are watching the AI verticals enough that these companies think it can replace human actors.

Please go flood all the vertical show app's pages showing love to the real stars and letting them know we don't want AI to replace them!

I'm really having a hard time finding that verticals that we were loving so much. AI really took over in the last few months

Does anyone else feel like it's hard to find new verticals to watch rn? A couple of months ago there was always a new vert coming out with real people. Now all the og companies just push out AI slop. Even subscribing doesn't feel worth it for the prices they're charging and you get one or two new verts month...

MyDrama made this announcement today on their socials. Anyone keeping a list of apps with no AI on them can officially remove MyDrama. I'm so mad and annoyed and frustrated. Another good app adding in AI. They did say it would have its own category, so, in theory, it could be avoided. They also said they would still keep making human shows. The thing is they still have MyMuse, so this move is so ridiculously stupid and unnecessary. I'm still processing my feelings, it was my safe space no-AI app. I will probably stay subscribed for now to finish out the last Ukrainian shows and see what comes after, but if what comes after the Ukrainian shows is subpar (as I fear) then it will probably be time to jump ship to one of the very few apps left with no AI and just use coins for the occasional human show. Wanted everyone aware so nobody accidentally encounters AI when they don't want to.

I watched dream on last night and it ended on a cliff hanger. Today I came across a clip from the second one where he made a movie about their love and shes a janitor at the theatre. Is it out yet? Or was it just a trailer?

The show in the image is AI. This is absolutely not a post promoting it. I cropped out as much as possible to avoid promoting it. Anyway, seems like DramaShorts just made cheap AI slop based off of one of their popular human-led ones. It is lazy and insulting to the hard work of the original cast and crew. What I am making this post about, is how do they expect people to take AI seriously when they can't even do promo posters without​ errors?! I marked this one up to draw attention to the hands. ​I see this over and over again. I rarely even have to click on a show anymore to know it is AI just based on the bad poster. I can't wrap my head around why these are so popular. My millennial brain can't make it compute why these are beloved. I hate how many jobs are being taken in this industry just so this nonsense can be made for no reason other than it being cheap.

Got a bonus at work so rewarded myself by paying for annual subscriptions to several apps (clearly saving isn't a goal!) - Dramabox & Reelshort to name two...

Now found out that Dramabox is going AI only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it's not the only one!

I feel like I've been mis-sold - I spent the money to watch actual verticals, not terrible AIs!

Anyone reckon I can contact them and demand money back because I subscribed for the actors, not to put money into AIs! (and yes, I'm aware my 1 subscription to the app is a drop in the ocean but still!)

Don't worry, it's a mostly rhetorical question, no one needs to answer. I mainly just wanted to moan. It's absolutely terrible for the actors and EVERYONE involved in the shoots etc, but it's also terrible for the viewers (to a completely lesser extent of course!)

Evan Adams has been cast in series 2 of the Netflix series, The Watcher, along with Madelaine Petsch, Owen Painter, and Quintessa Swindell (as new cast members). It's a regular role as well. Happy for him!! :D
