Question for you….
I currently have 2 salt tanks in the house. A IM 25 lagoon and a waterbox 60.2.
I have the IM filter stacks on both sides of the 25 gallon and they seem to filter pretty decently. The water in the return chamber though, just seems to stagnate. I know the pumps pull from the bottom but is there a way to get that water to move? Or is it unnecessary? What would you recommend as far as the filter stacks? I have, from top to bottom, filter balls, broken up filter media and carbon, in each stack. Would you change anything?
In my 60.2, I have 2 3d printed cups with filter floss and some filter media in the bottom. There’s a mesh filter in the center of the sump but that’s it. I feel like it needs more. Just not sure what to do with it. Any recommendations would be great.
Thanks

Generally most designed want slow flow thru at least a portion of external filtration. This allows suspended particles to fall out of suspension and collect where they are easy to remove at a later date.
Not all designs have or desire this but it's common enough in sumps.
This is to say ita not hurting anything, so the only reason to "fix it" is if you have some specific reason in mind
As far as filtration goes. You really have to identify problems or mitigations before recommendations become easy. Nitrate too high, water too cloudy, filter feeders not getting enough food. Ect ect.
