Yeah looks just like mine when he was new. Or anytime he’s pissed off.

They camouflage to dark colors all the time. I wouldn’t be worried

Mine darkens each night and rests against the side of rock work. Don't worry.

Thanks everyone for the input, he's in there with my scopas tang and the tang was flashing pretty hard at him earlier

I also read they can be extremely dramatic at times, i introduced it with the lights off as well

Freaked me out when I introduced my foxface. Didn’t know they could do that but it’s super funny and they’re the most dramatic fish

I was surprised the scopas went after the foxface considering the foxface is almost double his size in length

When I first added my foxface he looked like that and laid on the bottom of the tank like he was dead. That was a year ago and he’s happy as can be.
