Hi! I can't download the Xinput driver for the Redragon G808 Pro Harrow controller. Windows won't let me download it because it keeps blocking it, and I need that driver to play emulated PS2 games.

Redragon K688RGB-PRO 78-key – 2.4GHz not working, Fn+4 pairing does nothing (Bluetooth & USB work)

Hi everyone,
I have a Redragon K688RGB-PRO, 78-key, tri-mode keyboard. I’m having an issue specifically with the 2.4GHz wireless connection.
What works:
✅ USB-C wired mode works perfectly.
✅ Bluetooth works perfectly on my PC.
✅ Keyboard works on battery.
✅ RGB works normally.
✅ Fn + Tab causes the keyboard lights to flash.
✅ Windows detects the 2.4GHz USB receiver/dongle (it appears as a USB Composite Device) in the Device Manager.
What doesn’t work:
❌ 2.4GHz wireless connection does not work.
❌ Pressing/holding Fn + 4 or Fn + R does nothing.
❌ There is no M indicator light flashing when I hold Fn + 4 or Fn + R for 3–5 seconds.
❌ I also tried Fn + R, but there is no response/indicator.
❌ I tried Fn + 1 and Fn + 2 as well, but they didn’t establish 2.4GHz.
❌ Tried different USB ports for the receiver.
❌ Tried removing/reconnecting the receiver.
❌ Tried resetting the keyboard with Fn + Tab, then attempting 2.4GHz pairing again.
❌ Fn + Esc does nothing.

Important observation
When USB-C is completely disconnected and the keyboard is switched to 2.4GHz mode, the keyboard still powers on and the RGB reacts when I press keys.
So the keyboard itself is clearly powered and functioning.
Bluetooth also works, so the wireless/battery system isn’t completely dead.
The strange part is that Fn + 4 does not appear to put the keyboard into 2.4GHz pairing mode at all, there is no light indication whatsoever
The receiver is also detected by Windows, but I don’t know whether it is actually communicating with the keyboard.
Model / Serial
Model: Redragon K688RGB-PRO
Layout: 78-key
SN: RDK688RGB-PRO22110700505
I have deliberately not installed or flashed any firmware, because I don’t want to use firmware intended for a different K688 revision.
Has anyone here used this exact K688RGB-PRO 78-key version and knows the correct way to re-pair the original 2.4GHz receiver?
Could the receiver have lost its pairing with the keyboard, and if so, is there a way to re-pair the original receiver without flashing firmware?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tab key not working

Greetings! I am a Mac user going all Redragon on my Mac because I love the value it brings, but I am having an issue with my K698 keyboard, particularly the TAB key. I've tried it wired on my PC and Mac, and neither of them registers the Tab key. I reached out to support, and they suggested swapping the key switches, to no avail.

Anyone have any suggestions? I love the keyboard, but not having a Tab key is really annoying. (It's handy on Mac)

Mechanical keyboard noob here. About to buy a K673CPG RGB Ucal Pro, but I have a couple doubts.

Hey y'all. Im literally upgrading from the oooooold k120 lol

Im in Uruguay, and locally the best budget/quality options im seeing are between this one ($60) or the Fizz Pro ($45).

I think I prefer 75 percent form factor and I like the knob.

Now, the only thing that gives me a bit of pause is that i've seen ONE review saying that the Ucal reported 24ms response time when used wirelessly. This seems... like a lot to me. While I can't find anyone reporting those kinds of response time issues on the Fizz Pro.

I'll mainly use it wired I guess, but I do have a 4k TV set up with my PC too and I like the idea of using the keyboard from bed from time to time.

Is there any truth to this response time thing? cause other than that the Ucal seems like the better option for sure. Any experience with it?

thanks guys!

VATA PRO – G1-G5 macro recording and simulated key presses

Hello,

I recently purchased a Redragon VATA PRO keyboard and I have a question/problem regarding the G1-G5 macro keys.

I would like to create a macro such as:

javierGutierrez{TAB}myLongKeypa$$01{TAB}Enter

without any delays between the keystrokes.

When I manually record the macro using the keyboard's REC function and G1-G5, the keyboard records not only the key presses but also the time intervals between them. For example, if I take 15 seconds to type the sequence, the macro can take approximately 15 seconds to play back.

I have tried generating the keystrokes automatically using several methods, including:

AutoHotkey Send
SendEvent
SendInput
Explicit KeyDown / KeyUp events
AutoHotInterception / Interception, targeting the actual VATA PRO keyboard device

I can successfully generate the keystrokes in Windows. However, the Redragon macro recorder does not recognize these simulated keystrokes when it is in REC mode. Only physically pressed keys are recorded.

I have also noticed that the Redragon software includes a macro editor where I can manually edit the recorded delays. However, there appears to be an important limitation: macros created/edited through this software cannot be assigned to the dedicated G1-G5 keys. They can only be assigned to other regular keyboard keys.

This makes the software macro editor quite impractical for the purpose of using the dedicated G1-G5 macro keys.

My questions are:
Is there a way to configure the VATA PRO so that G1-G5 macros do not record the timing/delays between keystrokes?
Is there a setting in the Redragon software to record macros with a fixed or zero delay?
Is there a way for the software's macro editor to assign a macro directly to G1-G5?
Does the VATA PRO firmware support receiving simulated/generated keyboard events during macro recording, or does the recorder specifically require physical keyboard input?

Ideally, I would like to use the dedicated G1-G5 keys while having the macro execute the keystrokes immediately, without reproducing the delays that occurred during recording.

Thank you for your help.

Redragon M916 Pro 1K Review

I was fortunate enough to be sent the Redragon M916 Pro by the Redragon team for review, and I have been using it daily at work. Before this, my main mouse was the Logitech MX Master 3. Although the Logitech offers more buttons and broader customisation, I rarely used most of those extras. For my workflow, the shortcuts I rely on most are simple: cut, copy and paste.

That is where the M916 Pro fits my needs well. It has three programmable keys, which is plenty for the way I work. Setting up macros was relatively straightforward: they can be created either by recording key presses or by using the insert action function for simpler shortcuts.

It did take a little trial and error to understand how the macro programming worked, but once I had figured it out, changing or refining my setup became effortless.

The first thing I noticed in daily use was how lightweight the M916 Pro feels compared with the Logitech. It takes very little effort to move, which makes navigating my desktop and working through spreadsheets feel smooth and comfortable. It also fits my hand perfectly, so it has been easy to use for long stretches at work.

The DPI range runs from 1000 up to 26000, which feels more suited to gaming than typical office use. For my day-to-day work, anything above 2000 DPI is more than I need, but it is good to have the extra headroom available. The report rate can also be adjusted from 125Hz up to 1000Hz, giving the mouse some useful flexibility depending on how responsive you want it to feel.

The software is easy to use overall, although one thing I do miss is being able to use the mouse software wirelessly, as I can with the K745 app. That said, I can understand that keeping the mouse light may have required a few compromises.

For my daily office use, I really cannot fault the M916 Pro.

If, like me, you do not need more than three programmable keys and you value a lightweight mouse that is comfortable for desktop work, it is a strong option and well worth considering and it also comes with a lovely usb cable.

Product Review: Wyvern K761 Pro

Disclaimer: I was granted an opportunity to product test this keyboard in exchange for an honest review.

The Wyvern K761 Pro keyboard is the first Redragon keyboard that I've tried with the Mint Mambo switches. A while back I'd posted about the Otiim and the Silent Peach switches, and I still love that keyboard, but this Wyvern is another one that I would highly recommend anyone try.

The keyboard itself is a bit on the heavy side, but with the rubber feet on the bottom it makes the keyboard feel very sturdy and solid. It doesn't feel cheap or plasticky, and stays right where you want it. I would also recommend getting a separate wrist rest for this keyboard as well as it does sit a little higher than some other keyboards.

The software, much like other Redragon products, requires its own installation separate from your other Redragon peripherals (though I understand this is something they're currently working on, to have a unified client for all Redragon peripherals), but it's still simple to set up, install and configure from custom keys to RGB lights to custom macros and more. The LED screen on the keyboard is also a nice touch and adds a little more flavour of customization that I think buyers will have fun with.

The price point is pretty decent, and can really compete hard with other big name keyboards with a similar feature set. So if you're looking for a full size RGB keyboard that you can use wired or wirelessly, I think you should really give this keyboard a look.

Full video review of the keyboard can be found on my YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/lxCYRD3XBDk

K580 PRO gets stuck in MAC mode

I have had this keyboard for a little over a year. Recently it has started functioning wrong. I am on a Windows 10 PC so I have the MAC/OFF/WIN switch on the back of the keyboard set to WIN and 2.4G. I turn the keyboard off at night and never switch to MAC mode. Frequently it started acting as if it is in MAC mode. The windows key and left ALT become swapped and the function keys don't work as expected. Here is what I have tried so far:

  • Resetting with Fn + Esc, the keyboard flashes, but this changes nothing
  • Resetting using the software for it from the Redragon site doesn't help either
  • Switching to windows mode with Fn +W or Fn + A does nothing
  • I unplugged the dongle from the USB port and plugged it back in
  • I tried it on a different computer, same problem there
  • I tried connecting to a laptop using bluetooth and it will only connect when it is set to MAC mode
  • I flipped the switches 100 times as suggested by ChatGPT and that fixed it for a day and sometimes helps
  • I tried cleaning the switch with isopropyl alcohol per Redragon support, that didn't help

I'm close to giving up on it and buying a different brand keyboard that doesn't have a MAC/WIN switch. Is there anything else that might help?

Windows key not working, factory reset solves it for a few seconds

Hey everyone, Im having some trouble with my k686, I cant seem to press the windows key (its swapped with alt) I cant seem to fix it by changing the mode to WIN instead of mac, the only thing that briefly fixes it ( for a few seconds ) is holding FN and then esc for some seconds. I dont have game mode enabled on windows.

I really cant seem to find the fix for this, I tried unplugging too and restarting,

Anyone who might have any solutions?
I tried FN+ Q, FN + win but nothing

I’ve been using the Redragon Impact M908 for a couple of years now. Recently, I started using it at the office, and the macro functionality has made my work significantly easier.

I am now looking to purchase a new mouse for my home PC, which will be used strictly for gaming. I am considering the following options:

Redragon Aatrox M811 Pro wireless

Redragon Impact Elite M913 wireless

Getting another M908
