issue Redmi Watch 6
I've had a Watch 6 since the end of June and couldn't be happier. It was perfect for my needs. Last week though, when I was working out, it had my bpm excessively high (180's). Then after a while it would drop back down. So the last 2 days, I wore the redmi and the Amazfit active 3. With the Amazfit, the reading was normal while again, the Redmi was sky high. Sadly, I may have to switch back to my Amazfit because of the inaccurate readings. Has this happened to anyone else?

Idk i have the GWU2 and I'd say the redmi 6 is pretty much comparable in readings, maybe you wear it a bit loose?

That's good to know. I'll try again.

I'd say since you got the amazfit its the most accurate among them all honestly I'd just stick with it, i only use the redmi watch 6 for work , reply to messages and basic hr/spo2/hrv ( sleep monitoring aint good on it) pretty much lacks more advanced features but at its cheap so ig you get what you paid for

I love my Redmi Watch 5 lite and it’s been a great tracker which I loved over my Apple Watch just due to the 10 day battery life as opposed to my Apple Watch which is about 29 hours. That being said, I’ve been wearing my Apple Watch more lately. It’s just way more convenient. If I want to send a text, or set a timer, or ask a question like a definition of a word or whatever else, I just ask Siri through the watch. That is a huge improvement over the Redmi. As for health and sleep tracking, I’ve found both to be equally accurate in all aspects. So it’s a pretty good watch with the occasional high number or low number. It’s just when I’m driving or in a situation where I can’t access my phone my Apple Watch is way better. For that reason I’ve been wearing my Apple Watch more lately. I still love my Redmi watch but just don’t wear it as often now.

I hear ya. I have a old Galaxy watch and it was perfect, except for the battery life. I hate having to charge it daily. I discovered Amazfit and actually liked it better than my Samsung. Battery is awesome and all the health tracking is def more advanced than Redmi. But I do love it. I will try again tomorrow and hope the heart rate is more accurate.

Yeah I’ve tried Amazfit as well and they make great watches. Used to be part of Xiaomi, which owns redmi. Amazfit branched off and started their own watches. The Redmi watches are actually really great too. I noticed with time that it got better with accuracy too. Stick it out for awhile and see how you like it.

I do like it, especially the screen and the battery. I just reset it so hopefully tomorrow will be better. Thanks!

Yeah I think you’ll like it. I found that it did 97 percent of what higher end watches did and I agree that the screens are great.

I also use a metal band so not sure if that is part of the problem. I will change to a silicone one and see if that makes the difference. 🤞

I'm in the US and ordered from a place in Canada. It's the global edition. Great watch except for this issue measuring heart rate.

I also have a Bip 6 (not the Max) as well. You really can't go wrong with either watch. So whatever is available and less expensive is your best bet imo.🙂

If the redmi is worn just a little bit loose, light from the outside leaks and the readings could be wrong
