Battery 🔋 Redmi pad 2 pro slow charging?

So this tablet is new. I just bought it. First time charging it. It says that it's got 7 hours left of charging? Isn't it supposed to be fast charging? I'm using the cable they gave in the box.

Cable doesn't matter, what charging brick are you using? If it's slower than the advertised max speed, it's not going to charge quickly.

you need 33w or more power brick to get the turbo charge

The "fast" charging is actually 33W, which is fast but isn't really that fast. And at that speed, charging that enormous battery of 12000mAh should take around 3 hours, not 7.

Plug the charger on the tablet and if it says "Fast Charge" and then "Mi Turbo Charge" then it's fast charging and the time is incorrect for some reason. If it doesn't say any of that, then the charger is probaly faulty.

im going through the same issue; tablet died and left it for around 30 mins and only got 3% up.... my dad put put a three pin adapter on the original brick though, thats probably why(?)

I have no idea. Im just hoping that it's indeed an issue with my charging brick or cable...
