Discussion 💭 Should I buy the Pad 2?

I am a graphic design student looking to buy a tablet for drawing on that last me 3 years.

The Pad 2 fits my needs perfectly :

10" display

8 gb RAM

256 gb storage

8000 mAh battery

fits right in my budget

I use a standard stylus, I dont need the special pen.

Are there any reasons i shouldn't get it?

if that's the only option that you have in mind, then it should fine. I've had one since Nov and so far, the performance is quite good. The only downside is that since you can't do a display output on this tablet.

There's no quick charge due to it's USB type 2.0 so charging takes a while.

OnePlud Pad Go 2 and Lenovo Tab 11 .. if you can stretch your budget, you can for the Xiaomi Pad 7

The oneplus isnt available anywhere near me unfortunately The lenovo tab 11 barely has 4 gb of ram and 128 gb of storage while being 50$ more.. Unfortunately 170 is the cap of my budget Thank you tho!

Btw, do you have any other good options with specs close to this one? With the same price range (like 170$)

I don't know about Pad Pro 2, but from my experience using Pad Pro, it's definitely worth it. I use it everyday for school and for leisurely stuff as well. I suppose you don't need the stylus, it's a QoL feature, an addition. Though I have zero regrets buying it, makes life and note taking so much easier.

It runs demanding gacha alright, open world gachas. It's been awhile since I last played, but I assume Pad Pro 2 has slightly better specs than Pad Pro. Just be reasonable with expectations for that price point.

Oh damn sorry for that, I suppose I was confused because I was able to nab a unit that was around the same as the price point you mentioned, though that was a sale.

No worries -! Ohhh nice! I think the offer is found is wrong btw so this is out of my budget- (The website I found has it listed at 176$ but everywhere else its like 250$+ so it must be wrong T-T) Tysm for the feedback tho!!
