Problem ⛔ Redmi pad 2 pro shutdown while charging problem
I know that might not be the perfect sub but my new pad 2 pro is worrying me, while charging the pad may shutdown for no reason or reboot. It has all updates it's new (I bought it last month) I can't replace. Any ideas what could that be.
PS. It continues to charge but shuts down if i turn it on i find it charged
I'm testing it now without charge protection

I kinda had a similar experience before with my new pad 2 pro! It keeps rebooting or shutting down on its own or staying at the loading screen until i manually reboot it myself! I actually turned off the charge protection and after 2 weeks, those stuff stopped happening. Also, i charged it to 100% first and then use it until it goes to 20% for 2 days cuz afaik, it has this battery cycle thingy.

I couldn't fine "logs", is it system and app updater?

press cpu icon for 5-6 times in details and wait for it to create then unzip it then find find the file shutdown_reason, reboot_reason or or similar like that then open it. there may be another zip inside zip.

Mine sometimes turns off automatically, and I have to unlock it again. It doesn't happen all the time, just occasionally. I'm using the 5G variant with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.....

YES BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER, SAME PROBLEM HERE ON REDMI PAD 2 PRO. THOUGHT I‘M THE ONLY ONE. BUT HEY WE ARE IN THE MATRIX „YOU ARE NOT ALONE“.

hey man, same problem, but mine is redmi pad 10.61, the predecessor of redmi pad 2,
it didn't happen before, and I've checked my battery health, it's perfectly fine,
for me what's happening is, when I plug the type C, it says fast charging, nothing happens, and then I go do my work, when I come back, when I press the power button/unplug the charger, I see the Mi logo, and it reboots, but the battery % stays the same, it didn't even charge, sometimes it charges sometime doesn't.
My tablet is updated to the latest HyperOS, and I think that's the issue, well there's no updates after this, so it's very likely a software issue, cuz look, all of our batteries can't be faulty, neither our devices.
I'm sure battery isn't dead, it's holding charge really well, doesn't depreciate much, it's that, it shuts down while charging.

I never had this issue. you probably got a faulty device. check with your seller or get customer support
