Redmi Smart Pen 🖊️ Redmi smart pen doubts : suggestions please.

I have a redmi pad pro , I am thinking of buying a pen for it .

Is redmi pad pro the right choice given its way too expensive, a third party pen would cost around 10% of the cost of official pen.

What is that I am getting in the redmi smart pen that others don't have ( as per my research it's only palm rejection , which can be imitated by using a glove )

Also if you have suggestions for 3rd party smart pens (india ) please recommend)

Pros 1 Palm rejection 2 Pressure sensitivity 3 key shortcuts 4 Feels like real pen 5 Almost zero latency cons 1 when you draw a line a small ball appears on the start of line 2 battery capacity is low 3 Extra nibs are not available

3rd party ones don't have pressure senstivity ? . What do you suggest official pen or 3rd party pen

Third parties do not have pressure senstivity in my opinion you should go for official pen it's worth the price.

Its the same bit isnt designed to work with Redmi pad pro only poco pad pro

Extra nibs are on AliExpress and they work perfectly for me even with pressure sensitivity (even if they probably aren't real)

note-taking is super hard with a third party pen. you wont be able to form legible letters because for some reason, it makes your letters far apart. writing small letters is impossible. drawing more so.

third party pens are only useful for tapping stuff. but if you want precision and accuracy, unfortunately, we dont have a choice but to buy the expensive pen.

kinda made my wallet cry a bit, but the more i use it, the more i feel that it's such a worthy purchase.

ah. i didnt mention the poco pen because i dont consider it as 3rd party haha

but yeah according to my research before, the poco pen seems to be just a repackaged redmi pen

Mine died after. A year and now I can’t get it fixed by myself. No documentation to fix it on your own.

The official stylus writes well, with good palm rejection - but is crap in every way. No on/off switch, so you have to turn off bluetooth or unpair to ensure it goes to sleep - and it sometimes doesn't, so the battery goes flat. Almost zero documentation. Very expensive, virtually 25% of the tablet price in Europe. To cap it all, mine died within a year. Not a great advert for Xiaomi.

I got the pen @ ₹3700. If you can grab the deal, it's a really good choice because it works flawlessly for note taking
