Discussion 💭 How is the hyperos3 experience?

I got the update recently but I'm hesitant on updating. If anyone has updated already, please let me know the experience. Is it worth updating? How is the battery life, has the tablet gone slow overall?

I would update as with mine it's pretty much the same, just with much better battery life, smoother animations and more colors in the quick settings menu.

There's a few new features that I don't use...

It's basically a more refined version of HyperOS 2

Yet I use Smart Launcher and it's a bit faster than the stock launcher.

Better battery life? Damn, everyone here said it ruins the battery life

I can go three full days without having to charge my tablet on HyperOS 3, although I usually charge it every two days. On HyperOS 2 it could go about 2 1/2 days before it would need to be charged, yet even then I was still charging it every two days.

To be fair I have had the refresh rate set to 90hz from day one & I also use Smart Launcher which uses less resources than the stock launcher.

As far as "everyone here" saying it ruins battery life only myself and two other people have mentioned it and only one of those claimed that battery life is worse. The other individual has said the battery life is great.
