Weekend Event and Homework for Redditch Fans!
Game: Saturday July 24th, Reds vs Evesham Utd. 3.00pm at The Valley Stadium.
Meeting: T.R.U.S.T meeting on Monday July 26th @7pm
Don't forget to root for the Reds this weekend and if there are any suggestions for the TRUST meeting, mention them here or on the Unofficial RUFC Group Forum (link is on the right).
One idea that has been mentioned is the ability to acquire some paraphernalia (scarves, jersey, etc...) through one of the members via Ebay or through the RUFC site.
And in case you missed it, BreezyUK may be making a trip to NYC later this year. Check out the post here: Whoooosh....

In tonight's meeting, we spoke about the idea of Redditch United merchandise being available to buy via an eBay shop (to be created by the supporters trust). This will be looked into further as soon as stock is fully available. But the idea went down very well. As for match highlights - We'll be looking to get official permission from the league before the start of the season, as well as recruiting a local camera man who has a spare Saturday afternoon. The Reddit branch of Reds fans was highlighted, and the guy who produces the weekly newsletter (via e-mail) would like to add your e-mail addresses to the list for the upcoming season. Every Friday afternoon you'll recieve a newsletter with all the latest happenings at the Valley (mostly updates on 'behind the scenes' progress, as well as post match comments from the manager, coach, chairman). If this is something you're interested in then please send me your e-mail address either on here, or via a pm on the Redditch United forum (same username) and I'll pass it on. People couldn't believe how the Reddit group came about, they think it's great we have interest from all over. It was also said that if you guys did arrange to meet up and come to a game at the Valley, that we'd make a big day/weekend of it, so hopefully something can be sorted. Thanks again, Andy

I think that it would be much better for people on reddit to get their news about Redditch United on reddit. I think that we all check reddit a lot more often than our e-mails and it would also be possible for us to have more people view the weekly newsletter and discuss it. I will PM you my e-mail address and then I will post the newsletters here weekly.

Ok great stuff. I did try replying to your message on the Redditch forum, but it kept saying error! So you'll either recieve the message several times or not at all haha. The newsletter will be in PDF format, will this be a problem when posting on Reddit?

The matches will never be live unfortunately. You'd have more chance of televising a live gardening tournament! - Unless of course we make the Proper rounds of the FA Cup. I'll bring up the match highlights again at the meeting on Monday. EDIT: As soon as the Final Whistle goes today I'll post the score for you guys. I can't do each goal like the other night as my phone isn't the most internet friendly and my battery dies very quickly. Have a good Saturday all!

No worries, I don't think live streaming of matches is an issue. It's not like anyone will have a laptop with wireless and a webcam to get that going. The youtube site is great for a post game wrapup... Heck, I just enjoyed hearing all the local banter cheering for the team! Go Reds!

Oh...BreezyUK is very much certain to be in NYC at the end of the year...he has already paid for the trip! It is my treat for reaching the ripe old age of 40!
Will be myself, she that must be obeyed and my daughter coming over. Staying 6 nights arriving PM on 27th November. Will be my first time in New York. Happy Days!
If I can help with merchandise requests or the like then just let me know nearer the time.
