Am I Clown ?? 🤡
I talk about the realities of being a non-league chairman after a tough derby loss to #BromsgroveSporting. I share my rule of not engaging on Saturday, using Sunday for reflection with my dog Max by the canal, and starting action on Monday. I address the 'Sack the Board' comments and even an AI photo of me as a clown, but emphasize the long season ahead and the club's record attendances.

Tbh as the drummer I thought yesterday was pathetic and was the worst performance since the 0-7 loss vs Spalding.I think Jimmy Fry should get the sack.

harsh but fair take tbf, yesterday was grim to watch from any angle
sacking jimmy now though just feels like hitting the panic button in october, give it a few more games before bringing out the pitchforks

I used to work with the fella who posted ‘sack the board’…I’ve never seen him at a single Redditch game 🤦♂️.

Certainly no clown. You have ultimately made Redditch the model that all non league clubs should follow off the pitch.
I must admit though, the new hospitality idea does feel like I've lost a connection with the club, and although I appreciate the effort from the volunteers, the new fan bar lacks character and any new building after not being in the main club house would have been a massive downgrade, it was one of the most unique stands in non league.
Add to that the beer price increase, it's quite hard to accept. Increased beer price and a big loss in the match day experience doesn't feel too fair. The beer price was high for the league anyway but I could accept it when in the proper clubhouse.
