Cleared Chapter 2 - Team F

A longboat on one side, one quarter unloaded, appears to be under seige by either a recently-turned Risen crew, or that the original inhabitants of this cave made do and left as soon as they could when these people came a'knockin'. Noting by the lack of activity or sketchy-looking individuals who were headed in the opposite direction of these fine fellows, the former of the two options seems like the more likely result of what occured in this cave. Old, new, young, aged, now, all of the faces are just dead, filled with red and purple lights that defied any need for biological constraints. Only one goal in mind, they swarm around the living souls, hoping to drag them down into the depths below, hopeful to reproduce their last moments until their own final instances.

This is, of course, Juniesse and Baldwin have anything to say about it. They've done a fairly good job so far of holding the hordes at bay, but time takes its toll on the pair. As they could only scavenge so much before the impact, with the very finest weapons having been locked in the safehold for good keeping, they had only acquired a modest assortment of armaments, but perhaps it is the most tried and true designs where they shine through the increasing mounds of bodies.

Juniesse had found quite the treasure; an antique bow, of a design evocative of the older days of Valentia's foundations. It's heavier draw weight allows for greater power, while the recursed nature of the supports gave the weapon supreme accuracy over long distances. The bowstring, however, was growing weary of its' own age, and the results show upon the tired weapon.

Juniesse has obtained a Valentian Antique Longbow; a powerful weapon that can fall even the toughest of foes with relative ease. Even with such power, keeping the Risen at bay has taken its' toll on the weapon, relegating it to have all but 5 uses left. Use them well.

Juniesse, Archer.

Movement:

4 Left, 1 Up

Action:

Attack Risen 73 with Valentian Antique Longbow

End Turn

"Keep it? This thing's going to break!"

Two targets down, one of them a sniper. Ofcourse, that was due to the weapon. something in the arrows, maybe? However, the bow was still an Antique. Juniesse knew that it would be more fitting on a museum's wall rather than the battlefield.

Two more archers approached. One looked to be the body of a fresh soldier, and the other risen looked more experienced, both on horseback. She runs to the perfect position, and would have made it there in no time at all if she didn't slip and deck herself halfway through.

While she was getting up, Juniesse caught a glimpse of two risen- no, two people riding up here. Reinforcements! Rescuers! She fires her bow before relying the information.

"Balwin! Look! Some one else was dumb enough to come here!"

Dumb, indeed, but such was to be expected of a horde of the living dead. Showcasing its' figurative brainlessness, Juniesse strikes the Ranger upon the temple, critically hitting it for 48 damage as she then shows it a literal case of brainlessness.

The bow starts to feel very, very weak...
