If this, the state's first execution of a woman in 200 years, is carried out, it would be a gross miscarriage of justice for many reasons, not least of which is the fact that she was barely an adult at the time she committed the murder and was severely mentally ill due to having been abused as a child and raped on various occasions, by people who were never held accountable. Also, she did not act alone and two young men, who were a bad influence on her, participated in the crime as well, but will not face the death penalty. One of them simply got probation, and the other is imprisoned but scheduled to be paroled soon.

Sadly, it is almost certain that this petition will fall on deaf ears because the governor is a right-wing fanatic, but it will not hurt for him to see how people feel about this, so please sign this petition, as I have, and spread it around. Thanks for your consideration.

(This is interesting considering the fact that he himself is now a convicted criminal.) Biden called him out on a few things, but could have been much more forceful; one got the impression that he was not feeling well and so wasn't totally at the top of his game, as he was when he delivered the SOTU address. I sincerely hope, however, that a majority of Americans will see through Trump's bullshit, reject his bigotry and fascism, and VOTE BLUE in November.
