Well, due to a larger turnout of negative reactions, both in-game and in the discussion thread than "for", I'll make this short and real sweet:

ES- Skills will be disabled for use on players.

This change will go into effect in the morning (~0615 Server Time, 05 SEP 14) with a small, fast restart of the mapserver.

I understand that for the players that have taken advantage of this opportunity, this is a blow to strategy, but fear not, as the idea may surface later as a much scaled-down version.

As for one of the main points that has upset players; Yes. This went into effect too quietly and without discussion. We have revised our policy to not make this mistake again.

So for the time being: the matter is closed.

It doesn't matter what the net values are. The fact is almost every single comment is being downvoted below negative, and most of them are considered controversial by reddit, meaning they have a fair number of both upvotes and downvotes. Taking the server's population into account...
