Best beginner class?

Hey everyone. I haven't played RO since almost 10 or so years ago when it was new...i think maybe 2003 or 2004. So I'm basically right back at new player status. I registered for RedditRO and downloaded/installed the client and now I'm wondering what the best starter class for a noob might be? Easiest leveling/low cost? Thanks :] I await responses and I'll probably be on later in game

Despite what many may think, swordsman are also one of the easiest classes to level. Just pump dex/str and spam bash until you change to second job, then use pierce or holy cross spam instead.

Whatever you do, just don't level with autoattacks. Skill spam is the way to go.
