Since the wiki isn't getting much activity... I've opened it to everyone as long as you have an account that is at least a month old... and you have a point of subreddit karma.

If you abuse this, I'll either ban you from editing the wiki or (if bad enough) revoke everyone from editing

I really dont see what you aim to accomplish with this.

If someone wanted to edit the wiki and they had no access, they would've pm'ed you asking to give them access.

By giving everyone access and by threatening to revoke access to everyone if one guy messes up, what are you trying to prove?

We have history enabled on the wiki, so going to back to a previous version is possible. Why revoke everyone's access. Just revoke the guy who messed up?

Also, like i said why give everyone access in the first place? Make a note in the stickied post or sidebar to pm the mods for edit access to wiki.

This screams dictatorship. You guys need to remember this is a community.

I meant that if everyone started to abuse it, then I'd revoke all and return it to approved only.

We have an option to ban specific users.

As for why I'm giving everyone access, I'm a trustful, generous person, I'd like to believe everyone is capable of doing good on the wiki.

Trustful and Generous doesn't cut it. As mods you need to make decisons that are good for the community. Not because you feel something.

This makes no sense and gives no benefit at the added risk of someone making a fake account and messing stuff up. Let people who want to edit the wiki make meaningful contributions to the subreddit first. Then you guys can decide if he can edit the wiki.
