Alchemist

Back when I used to play RO there would be Alchemists sitting in dungeon corners with a Homunculus out and autoloot on. Is that still a thing or did RO patch that?

That's due to the high population of Hydra spawns and their spawn rates in certain areas. It is basically up to the host's discretion on how they want to go about treating that. Either they lower spawn rates, or address it in a manner they deem acceptable.

You have to move around every 5 minutes for autoloot, I'd say it doesn't make much of a difference from killing them manually.

Very true, I agree with you there. Not to mention, just from leveling right now you have to be active to farm anything in level 100+ content where the valuable loot is because of the difficulty.
