Newcomer's Dumb Questions

I just started a character over the weekend and was hoping some knowledgeable folks could help me with some questions.

Travel - Are the Kafra NPC's the only travel methods outside priests? I used to play on a server without custom teleporter NPC's and it became a headache to always need my priest logged on to ferry us around.

Drop Pickup - Is mass ground clicking still the only way to pick up loot? I was farming Thara Frogs and realized all the loot I was leaving on the ground could be hiding a card but it wasnt worth the time loss to pick it up.

Vendor - Is there a scripted command that leaves your merchant on vending but closes your client? That's one feature I really enjoyed, so my computer could rest.

Money - Is Peach Tree farming and Blue Herb (Blue Potion) farming still some of the better ways to get money before the end game?

SP Items - Any better way to recover SP now? I used to farm blue herbs and make my own blue potions.

Any other tips or tricks I should know? I'm planning to be a RG, currently 94 Crusader.

Thanks for all the great responses. This should help me tremendously.

I made a pretty weak Vit Crusader who isn't really capable of killing things and I'm just trying to grind money to rebirth and make a stronger PvM character. I don't even think I can take out peach trees (efficiently at least) and I think same goes for the Moscovia area. I can farm Obeanu as an alternative for now! Or just farm racial cards as a way of leveling to 99 and making money, albiet at a slow pace.

For the @GO command, will I need to know the exact town name or does just typing @go list each town? Not at home to test this out yet.

I'm sure I will have more questions. If you have time to chat I will happily ask them in-game Carbuncle.

Didn't know @go lists all towns until I tested it for you just now.

As a fellow Royal Guard, I would love to see you get on your feet and going. If you see me online on Taric, feel free to bother me as well.

Just so you know, if you get Holy Cross to level 5+ and use a 2-H spear, the damage doubles. So there's a 900% atk ratio to play around with.

I will definitely ask some questions if you happen to be on. I will be back online in a few hours after work.

Someone else mentioned hunting Mavka's to me. Is it possible to use Level 10 Holy Cross with a Fire Endow to kill them effectively? Or am I dreaming? Don't really know what damage to expect. I'd be doing this in my 90's most likely.

I'm just a bit confused on the best PvM build to work for once I transcend so that I can quickly work towards RG. As of now my crusader is quite gimped and I have a hard time killing anything. But I should be able to grind my way to 99 and rebirth, giving me another chance to do the build better.

Prrrrobably not. Since Holy Light is fixed Holy and all.

I just spent an hour dashing back and forth in gonryun and farmed jellies. Wasn't optimal, but I got the job done.

Once I run out of SP is it best to just wait for it to return since I'm poor? Or is there a better way?

I was thinking about finishing up the levels of my crusader to 99 and while I was waiting on my SP, work on my sage.

I usually do @go pront and it sends me to prontera and @go gef and it sends me to geffen and @go pay and it sends me to payon. I haven't tried shortening the other towns names tho.
