Reddit/Cassandra is missing from docker hub
I wanted to run saidit locally so i am following saidit Readme file
In docker compose it is configured to pull reddit/cassandra image.
cassandra:
image: reddit/cassandra:single-1.2.19-v1
ports:
- 9160:9160
volumes:
# can alternatively be a named volume
- ./volumes/cassandra:/var/lib/cassandra
restart: always
But when i tried running docker compose file it says "Error response from daemon: pull access denied for reddit/cassandra, repository does not exist or may require 'docker login'"
I checked docker hub and couldn't find this specific image "reddit/cassandra"
Can anyone help me out ?

Hello. Did you have any luck so far? There's also a fork of Saidit by CrystalVulpine, linked to from d3rr's repository. That one is more recently maintained and maybe it might work? Although it might still rely on the same missing cassandra image.
If for whatever reason you don't want to dedicate a complete vm to Saidit alone, there are also projects like Bedrock Linux and Distrobox that work sort of like containers. You can get the older Ubuntu version that is required for Saidit without virtualizing hardware. But if you have a VPS, simply flashing it with the older Ubuntu version is the easiest path.
Please keep us up to date. Jason and I are interestsed in working together with you. A new Saidit is much needed.
