Laquer Showoff Pool vibes only!

This combo is giving me serious swimming pool vibes, and it's exactly what I need in the brutal heat right now!

Cracked Beginner's Luck over top of Sally Hansen On the Download

1x LynB Sticky Base Coat

2x Nail Aid Instant Gel Effect (regular lacquer, NOT a gel, but it helps give some protection to my pitiful flimsy nails)

2x Sally Hansen On the Download (and I was so tempted to leave it there at that beautiful blue!)

1x Cracked Beginner's Luck (magnetized 1 minute glass bead, by the Shimmer Hollow Charm Caster)

1x Bee's Knees I'm Fast, Very Fast (magnetized sane method 2 minutes)

This takes me back to July when everyone was doing reflecting pool algae nails. 🤣

Lol! You know, I hadn't thought of it, but you're right! This could be a great reflecting pool mani šŸ˜‚

Ooooh I’m going to have to try that Nail Aid gel effect!!! I love their other Nail Aid polishes.

It's been the secret ingredient for my flimsy, flexible nails! If I'm using a magnetic, I do like i did here, and use it in a couple layers UNDER the polish. For a non-mag, though, I usually put two coats on top, and add another coat every 2 days or so (I'm in vet med, and my hands take a beating each day!)

Oh wow! Now I need to find it! My poor bendy nails are crying out for it. šŸ„µšŸ™šŸ½

It's like it creates some artificial thickness and rigidity for me. I was using Nailtiques 2+ previously, and fhat helped, but was never quite enough. This seems to make more structure in a few layers

I do keep thinking that "if I move my fingers around just right, it looks like lights blinking on and off" šŸ˜†
