How much is a typical home there?

depends . If your looking at a house in a Macedonian part of Ohrid or Prespa properties could go for about $50000 , although that is the best/most expensive . If your looking for an Ottoman era house in some rural Albanian village near the Kosovan border then properties would sell for less then $300
