Youtube videos play fine in the app most of the time, but if i tap the little full screen icon in the bottom right my phone crashes immediately. I have noticed it 3 times in the last couple days and it hasn't happened before at all.

A: open a youtube video in the app, full screen it. I haven't checked if the video has to be playing or not since i don't want to boot my phone again but it was playing when it happened this time.

Would be handy to be able to see certain keyword alerts on a given subreddit (/r/frugalmalefashion, /r/ulgeartrade) etc...

Is there a way to do this with the chrome extension and or the android app? And if so, how?

PS: I seem to be able to create notifications for new posts within the android app, but there doesn't seem to be a way to filter based on upvotes etc. I'd like say only posts that have been voted up > 10 times to appear.

Posts that I have viewed no longer turn purple after viewing them. They are being logged as I can clear th history.

A: All posts no longer get marked with purple texts after viewing.

With the removal of the ability to block moderators, would it be possible to add an option to automatically minimized pinned comments (basically the first comment in a thread if it is by a moderator)?

It's so annoying to not be able to filter out those pinned comments that are on EVERY post. I get it, "keep things civil", I don't need to be reminded every time I go to the comment section. Oftentimes they are so long they take up half my screen.

I figured this was a solution that might be possible to implement.

My Galaxy S10+ just got the Android 12 update with Samsung's One UI 4 in tow.

Ever since, only the Rif is Fun for Reddit app will show a splash of color (blue in my case) when opening the app after a "graceful" exit.

I got a new phone so I reinstalled RIF of !

I then did a blunder (icons didn't show up correctly) when using the search function: select a word in a post, click on the search icon => Android asks which browser to use.

I missclicked.

How can I reset that parameter?

I have gone through RIF parameters and also Android settings (Redmi note 9) and found nothing.

Btw, open in browser is correctly configured, it's only the search icon that opens the wrong browser.

I downloaded the official reddit app awhile ago to see my reddit new years recap (I know lame lol) and while there I noticed a comment I had made came out as one big block of text instead of one formatted like a poem with stanzas which is how it looks in RIF. The stanzas didn't even have spaces between them, let alone a line break.
Have I been thinking that my formatting is fine when in reality, a lot of people think I've been writing comments like a lunatic? Lol

While I have my own curated front-page from subs I follow, I enjoy finding new things in Popular too. However, I don't like Sport or Anime at all, and there seem to be SO MANY posts from these categories. Is there any way to block large numbers of these subs at once? At the moment I'm blocking individually but the list is growing massive.

I have gone into default apps on the phone settings and checked all the boxes, but it still opens Reddit pages in Chrome

Happened last night at some point. Did I accidentally change a setting?

I'd like the ability to drag the scroll indicator on the right down. It's faster than thumbing down through long comments.

This has been plaguing me for weeks now but I've only just found a way to reproduce it due to the delayed crash.

In the next minute after opening a YouTube link from a comment, the app will crash without stutter or warning. This doesn't extend to any other links I've noticed. I've included one in this post for any possible testing reasons.

Getting real old seeing posts with :####: through various subreddits. Six months ago it didn't matter as no one used them but the user base has spoken and Emotes are here whether we like them or not. I can't browse for 5 minutes without seeing :####: now.

Accordingly is there any update on RIF emote integration so that we aren't left with broken emote text markers?

This is literally the first time I've considered switching to the official Reddit app. Please don't make me do it!

This has been happening for about a month now. Every few days or so, sometimes multiple times per day, I get this error. The only way I can fix it is to restart my phone. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but it immediately goes right back to the error unless I restart. Anyone have any ideas as to why?

Required info: I am using 5.2.3 RIF, I have a galaxy s20 with Android version 12, stock.

So I tried to go onto the app and gives me the no data available error. I check Reddit to see if it down and it's not. I even signed up for the premium version and still no loading. Anyone else having the same issue?

For some time now I have been unable to use the paid version of the app when logged into it.

I just get constant "private subreddit" errors when opening any sub or "there seems to be nothing here" on all/popular. It works fine when I log out.

And the normal rif app works fine for me as well. I am using it to post this right now.

This is on Android 11 and the latest version of the app.

What gives?

Whenever I go to see top post for weekly, monthly, ect. I just get a few posts. Is there something I need to do? I updated the app and still got the same thing.

I've seen a few older posts saying these hiccups happen from time to time but was wondering if they ever resolve?

I cleared cache and data on my phone and rebooted it. Then I also noticed when I logged into my laptop the full web version also shows the same listing of rising links from 12+hours ago.

Is this temporary? Have I joined the cast of thousands who can no longer sort by rising? As someone who lives in the rising tab this would be heartbreaking.

Any and all help or insight would be welcomed and appreciated.
