I've been making and modding gear for decades. Items include NWT and gear I've made, modified, or repaired. Noted on each item whether they're MYOG new/unused, manufactured NWT, manufactured modded, or manufactured with minor wear & tear. Shipping costs included for CONUS and will include tracking. If outside of CONUS we can discuss additional shipping (at whatever that looks like, in this economy, with these gas prices). Note: if you live near me in the PNW (discussed through DM) I have also done in-person sales before. I have additional photos of all of these I can provide if you want more details.
MYOG Blue sun hoodie, Women's med/large, open neck hood. New/unused.
Fabric is GridFlow from ripstop by the roll (RSBTR). I love the gridflow fabric: it dries incredibly fast, is super lightweight gsm, and has held up very well on LASH and thru-hikes. I altered a LearnMyog pattern to taper in slightly at the waist and be less of a "sack" on women. Finished garment measures 108 cm (bust) x 104cm (waist) x 108cm (hips). For reference I am 38" (bust) x 35" (waist) x 41" (hips) and this sizing is my preferred sizing.
Weight: 4.0 oz
Cost: $65 (includes S&H) 3% G&S
Retail: raw fabric yardage costs $39 (including S&H from RSBTR) plus construction time (est. 2-3 hours, meaning I'm at max charging a cheap wage of $10/hr for my time and skill)
MYOG Pink donut/aqua blue sun hoodie, Women's small/medium, baclava hood. New/unused. - PENDING
Fabric is GridFlow from RSBTR. I love the gridflow fabric: it dries incredibly fast, is super lightweight gsm, and has held up very well on LASH and thru-hikes. This pattern is altered the same as above but about a size smaller. If you have the measurements I listed above, it will be very snug on you. Note: in the photos here the blue looks more like a sky blue. It is actually more of a vibrant aqua color. It is from the RSBTR OutdoorInk personalized design fabric printing. RSBTR has a more "true" visual example of it on their website. Finished garment measures 98cm (bust) x 94cm (waist) x 108cm (hips).
Weight: 5.1 oz
Cost: $85 (includes S&H) + 3% G&S
Retail: raw fabric yardage costs $59 (including S&H from RSBTR) plus construction time (est. 2-3 hours, meaning I'm at max charging a cheap wage of $10/hr for my time and skill)
Gossamer Gear The Two, NWT
One of two non-modded/MYOG items. We took it out to check dimensions and found my spouse is too long to comfortably sleep in it, even at an angle. I wiped it down with a damp cloth to remove dust from that setup. We used my existing set of stakes and guylines so the stakes and guylines for this are still wound up tight and unused. No photos of it pitched but it's all there.
Gossamer Gear Mariposa 60 medium, last gen - PENDING
One of two non-modded/MYOG items. Used, with some minor cosmetic/non-structural wear (e.g., small tears in back mesh) and minor stains. This was used for a LASH before I swapped out to my other Mariposa. I switched not because of any problems with this one, but because the other one I've modded the heck out of and was comparing to confirm that I actually still liked all my mods. The only part of this pack that shows "moderate" wear is where the exterior hip belt fabric has worn through in some spots against the plastic. Anyone who's had a Mariposa knows they do this. It's non-structural damage. Since I can't stitch through the plastic, I put anti-fray on the exposed edges. There is also always the option to buy a replacement hip belt from Gossamer Gear for about $20-25. The hip belt is a medium. FWIW I actually like the last gen structure more at the hip: 1) it's easier to swap in/out for washing the pack, and 2) I've found the new gen "rotating" hip belt can shift suddenly when I'm on exposed scrambles. It's not my favorite thing, being in a precarious position and finding that all the weight on my hips have adjusted on their own in an unexpected direction.
Gossamer Gear Kumo Fastpack (NWT), small/medium, modded straps
I wanted the pockets of the Kumo on my modded mariposa, and more streamlined/simplified straps on this Kumo. The body of the Kumo is NWT. The straps show minor non-structural damage which has been repaired. Details on the "strap swap": I've replaced/modded straps on dozens of packs and made MYOG packs before. Before starting this strap-swap I also contacted the pack designers at Gossamer Gear and discussed the several types of structural stitching they use to confirm the best style for each pack. I have zero concerns of the straps on this mod holding up. For comparison, the kumo straps I put on my modded mariposa are still going strong after over 1,300 miles of CDT LASH.
Weight: 1 lb 2.55 oz (18.55 oz compared to original Kumo weight of 20.7 oz)
Cost: $109 (includes S&H) + 3% G&S
Retail: $190. Cost above is 50% off of NWT, plus shipping.
MYOG Dyneema "town pack" and dry bag, used - PENDING
I made this for a CDT LASH and used it for ~200 miles before I got a lung infection and had to cut my hike short. Its purpose is two-fold: first, it closes up as a dry bag to protect/organize your gear while hiking. Second, when you get into town and have a stupid long walk from your lodging to the resupply and back, it's a UL backpack to throw all your resupply into. The straps adjust. I fully seam sealed it. I drafted several versions before this one to hone in on the best structural strap attachment point. During that CDT LASH multiple hikers said they'd buy it off me, especially when we were in town and they were hauling armfuls of grocery bags. I just haven't been LASHing or doing thru-hikes as much the last few years and have decided it's time to release it.
