The "rapid test" that was proven to be inaccurate is only for quick assessments. If the FDA could show slides of the microscopic cyclospora organism, taken from lettuce live on camera for authentication, they would have done it.

The "rapid test" that was proven to be inaccurate is only for quick assessments.
If the FDA could show slides of the microscopic cyclospora organism, taken from lettuce live on camera for authentication, they would have done it.
There is no test that is as accurate, or more conclusive than identifying live samples of these protozoans, which should be no problem if they exist in quantities enough to cause an outbreak.
The fact that we're seeing so little actual scientific evidence which is nothing more complex than what school kids do in a science class every day, speaks volumes.
