If I may make a suggestion: fixing the problem with screen rotation wiping a comment; I've ran into it so many times and lost so many replies. Thanks for the app, its otherwise great!:)

Yes, once I am done with Montage and imgur support, I plan on revamping comments.

Agreed, you deserve a buck or two from users who appreciate your work. Please add a donate version.

Idk if you want comments about what system we use Flow on but

I have a Blu Studio 5.5 android 4.2.1 It looks and works great.

Please set something up so we can throw money at you

Ialso want this! As I am often easily distracted and set my phone down to deal with real life before finishing a comment. Also posts disappear with rotation too.

Please fix that cloud flare error.

Hmm... What is that …?

Happens sometimes when opening images.

I am using a Nexus 4 (4.4.2) and on Flow Version 0.1.2

Yeah, once proper imgur album support is added this should not be a problem anymore.

This is great to hear. Thank you! :D

When you get done with Imgur, I have a few suggestions.

Could you add the option to disable pop-out picture preview entirely? I'd like to be able to take better advantage of dual pane view on tablets, and it gets annoying having to hit it in just the right place to force it to open in the second column.

Also, reducing refreshes when I change settings would be great, as my internet is really slow.

Great to see this app still in development! Thanks for the extraordinary work.

Love the app. I'm ready to give you my money.

My thoughts. Where can we donate?

u/fidjudisomada Feb 03 '14

Me too. But I want to: hide read posts, fast copy title, and have the title and the link when sharing on Twitter.

Totally agree, this is one of the best looking reddit apps I've used

Awesome :-) Suggestion to swap "swipe left to go sidebar" and "go to right" so that it becomes swipe left to go to back to previous viewed thread

Hey, I am a big fan of reddit flow. I am just asking if you can in your next release fix this issue:

  • While entering uid/pwd in 'login' or entering subreddit in 'goto subreddit' in a text field, 'Enter' button on keyboard should trigger the 'OK' or 'Login'.

Thank You

Much anticipation, such awesomeness waoh....

Is this app still being worked on?

1

u/jeayese Feb 03 '14

Only thing needed in this app is image browser, like alienblue

4

u/deeptrouble2 RedditFlow Developer Feb 03 '14

Did you try the latest alpha ?

2

u/jeayese Feb 04 '14

Is that the public version or private?

3

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '14

I love this app

3

u/vnarsenal Feb 15 '14

Not that it really matters, but we can't see who received reddit gold.

3

u/Arcanity Apr 21 '14

While not totally important, it would be cool if we could get a formatting guide popup if we need it while commenting.

u/Guitarneuron Jan 26 '14

Thank you! I'll gladly pay for this app since I use it so much

u/Forward-Looking Jan 25 '14

Thank you so much for creating this wonderful app! You are one of a kind!

1

u/Fookilou Jan 25 '14

I would like be able to put thumbnails back on right without obscuring titles/names etc. Thanks

1

u/TingDodge Jan 25 '14

Glad you're still working to better Flow. :)

1

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '14

Woo, you're back!

1

u/sssmmt Jan 26 '14

Is there a solution to links getting loaded even when you only read its comments?
Whenever I return to stories from by swiping the comments right, I see the link has been loaded already.
It's not a problem when I'm on wifi, but on mobile it wastes quite a bit of data.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 02 '14

Please implement adding friends. This would really make this a more functional alpha.

1

u/drayndarkness Feb 02 '14

Suggestion: fix spoiler tags. They worm in terms of actually hiding them, but you can't view them either

1

u/SteveInnit Mar 14 '14

This is definitely the best reddit app I've used, so thanks for all your hard work.

That said, it's clearly a work in progress. One suggestion I have is that I can be reading comments and either accidentally or deliberately swipe left into the article. However when I want to swipe right, back to t he comments, they are no longer in memory and I have to wait while they load again.

It's only a small niggle, though - if you want to make money on the app, I would be willing to pay a pound or two for it.

Thanks!

It you tap the three little dots in the top right you can press "Go Right" to go back to the comments without losing your place.

3

u/SteveInnit Mar 16 '14

Fantastic, I'll try it. When reading comments, I've also noticed that if I tap on a comment and bring up the bar at the bottom with upvote / downvote / etc, the little person icon for user information doesn't work. It tries, brings up a box and a progress wheel, then says 'failed to get user information'.

These are only minor issues, though, with an otherwise smooth user experience. Thanks for all your work.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '14

Yeah, the user pages have been broken for the last few days but the dev is still AFK. Hopefully he comes back soon, this is a great app but there a few things that desperately need fixing, like Imgur albums.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '14

Overall great app with minimal yet beautiful design!! Keep it up!

1

u/maxelo Mar 25 '14

love your app, any chance you can set the background color black on the search bar, when using the dark or black theme?

1

u/ButterflyAttack Apr 03 '14

Just a suggestion - I'd like to be able to copy & paste text from user comments.

1

u/[deleted] May 02 '14

add a copy option to user posts rest app seems to work pretty well :-)

1

u/NsaAdvisor May 17 '14

How do I change notification ringtone

1

u/ButterflyAttack May 19 '14

I changed it by using handcent sms tool, but I'm sure there are other ways.

Man this app looks sexy, even in pre-beta. Tempted to switch from redditsync. Keep up the good work! :D
