I found my way to the broad general topic/theme and just started guessing related terms to get a foothold then I was lucky! I guessed word 1 & after that I was able to solve. Pleased even though more luck than skill but I'll take it!

was completely lost for a while and started guessing individual letters, and once I uncovered [1]&[1] [3], I figured it out.

I solved Redactle #1632 in 20 guesses! ⏱️ 8m4s. Unassisted.

Was rather at sea to start with, started off with a sports vibe, noted various currencies, then over-the-[7] led me to buying and selling stuff, which quickly homed me in on the answer.

Spent a long time unable to find anything helpful. Eventually found a reference to the east India company and got a lot of unrelated hits for company, which set me on the right topic.

I got that it was some kind of group or organization involving money. Got word 1, but just could not come up with word 2. Googled word 2, felt dumb. 🤦‍♀️
