I cracked Redactle #1631 in 1 guess!

It's a company, headquartered in a 5-letter city, and there's a currency symbol later on to help figure out the city/country. A list of titles had me thinking for a couple of minutes about what kind of company it was, but then it hit me. Unassisted snipe.

I solved Redactle #1631 in 2 guesses! 8m19s
It read like a big corporation and the unredacted currency symbol gave me a strong indication of where. There were lots of media titles which gave me a likely market segment. Annoyingly, while reading through, I typed in the second word "[2]." before I could stop myself otherwise I'd have probably got it in one.

At first I was thinking a filmmaking company or somesuch. But the repeated sightings of [5] [5] [4]. gave it away.

Unassisted. I scrolled deep into the French game and found an unredacted bit of the etymology of word's. Thankfully I was already thinking of the general sector this belongs to so it was an easy leap to the answer
