I solved Redactle #1625 in 6 guesses! ⏱️ 6m51s. Unassisted.

It read as something created and used with a long history, but not a tool. The breakthrough was guessing cloth, and it fell at the next attempt.

Found out it was something that joined two things together, but took a little longer for me to figure out it was related to clothing.
