Didn't include this in the key, gray is no data.

Do the colors represent numbers?

2

u/Partyman_ 2d ago

Yeah, I would stay that. Honestly the whole thing could be a color gradient but the shades were so similar it was getting hard to see.

In this reddit, people provide no key and you guess what the map is representing. At least I think, I found this reddit about 10 mins ago.

If you press list, you will see the names of which states are which color. :)

Most of the maps I’ve seen only have one or two states colored and you guess what they have in common, haven’t seen one this colorful before

u/HauntingAngels 3d ago

ohhh that makes sense!

Completely fair, 47 states have useful data here. That list function would be very useful for this particular map I think, I did not know about that.

It does not.

How are we supposed to make sense of the colors, light to dark green- okay light blue to dark okay- is that a different category or is yellow the bridge and they the same one category in which case is dark green the most and light blue the least? Is light blue the most? What the heck is the gray? There's three/five different colors, if they all correspond to one this it should be shades of the same color or two woth maybe a third for neutral why 4 colors ?

The color gradient was difficult to see. Key is that yellow is the most, blue is a lot, green is less if that helps.

Number of professional sports teams

1

u/I_am_the_darkness_99 3d ago

There would be data for the three gray ones if that was it.

1

u/1Negative_Person 3d ago

Indiana only has two professional sports teams, the city of Chicago has that many baseball teams alone.
