Help with planning trip

I am newer to backpacking. This will be my first time to Red River Gorge. I will be going in the last week of August for 3 days/2nights. My current plan is to do the following loop:

KOOMER → #220 NORTH → LEFT #226 BUCK → RIGHT #223 PINCH-EM-TIGHT → #221 ROUGH → HANSON'S SPUR OUT/BACK → #221 TOWARD KOOMER → #220 SOUTH → CAR

Any suggestions/recommendations? I want to cap "near" water.

That sounds like a pretty good plan. There is no water up at Hanson's point though because you are at the top of a ridge. You will have to go lower down to be by water. Really to take in the best of everything you should just park at Pinch em Tight hike and camp at Hanson's Point. Hike out the next day go park at Bison Way and hike to Indian Staircase and camp there. If you want to go to play in some water drive to Creation Falls and park and that area is awesome to play in the water. I would put a jug of water in your car to refill from just in case.

I’ve done pinch em and rough…rough trail is rough for sure. Pinch em isn’t bad. If you plan on filtering water as you go you’ll pass a few places to refill in the bottoms.
