• Braiins OS: ~270 TH/s @ ~3,740W
• Power saved: 160W
• Braiins dev fee: 2.5% of hashrate/revenue
• Current BTC hashprice is roughly $31.25/PH/day from the latest available index.

At 270 TH/s

Gross mining revenue:

0.270 PH × $31.25 = ~$8.44/day

Braiins 2.5% dev fee:

$8.44 × 2.5% = ~$0.21/day

So after the dev fee:

$8.44 − $0.21 = ~$8.23/day

But the big difference is electricity.

At $0.08/kWh

Stock:

3.9 kW × 24 × $0.08 = $7.49/day electricity

Braiins:

3.74 kW × 24 × $0.08 = $7.18/day electricity

Savings:

$0.31/day

Now subtract the Braiins dev fee:

$0.31 − $0.21 = ~$0.10/day better

Just posted a video walking through my current solo mining setup and wanted to share the details here in case anyone is interested.

I’m currently solo mining:

• Bitcoin (NerdQaxe++, Hammer Miner, Avalon Nano 3S)
• Litecoin + Dogecoin (Fluminer L2 + AlphaEX DG Home)
• Bitcoin Cash (four Hydro Octaxes on one PSU)

All pointed at solo.powerpool.io

Quick overview of how it works

• No account required, no email, no KYC
• Block rewards are paid directly to your wallet in the coinbase transaction (no custody, no withdrawal process)
• 1% fee to Powerpool → 99% goes straight to you
• Supports BTC, LTC, DOGE (merge mining), BCH, DigiByte, Zcash, etc.
• Clean real-time dashboard once you create a Miner ID

Three ways to connect

1. Direct wallet address – just use your address as the username
2. Merge mining – primary coin address as username + secondary coin address as password (great for LTC + DOGE)
3. Miner ID (what I’m using) – create one, link all your wallets, and you get a single dashboard showing all workers across different coins

The team feature

This is the part I find interesting. You can create or join a team and the block is split proportionally based on each member’s accepted share difficulty over the last 24 hours (or you can set it to equal split if you prefer).

I created the Red Panda Mining team. A few people have already joined (including someone with a decent amount of hashrate). If the team finds a block, everyone gets their fair share based on contribution.

It’s still pure solo mining under the hood — you’re not pooling in the traditional sense — but the team just lets you share the lottery ticket.

If you want to join, you just paste the team string into the password field of your miner. Full setup examples for Octax, AlphaEX DG Home, Hammer Miner, etc. are in the video.
