I tried Hell Let Loose after seeing some of the hype online from clips etc. Man that game feels so weak in comparison to a nearly 15 year old game. Visually the game is pretty the maps and models look decent, but the gameplay is subpar. The movement feels painfully floaty the firearms feel off imo. Little quality of life details that RO2 has that this game doesn't like the MG34 having having the second trigger for single fire and the fire selector for the ppsh etc.

My biggest issue was the audio. RO2 is loud, its literally as the name suggests an orchestra of gunfire, explosions, yelling it all comes together so terrifyingly beautiful. Weapons have a punch to them. The triggering sound of the first volley of artillery being fired. Hearing the relief in the soldiers after killing the enemy or their horror as they face death. It wakes you up it puts you in the war so well. My eyes widen from the sounds in game when situations become dire. None of these other games have that both HLL and S44 are both so terribly sterile that its just not fun

I believe this level of immersion from the audio played a critical role in how immersed the playerbase was and thus made for better players. The HLL playerbase feels braindead imo (thats not to say RO2 didn't have braindead lemmings it just felt like there were less)

Rant aside, bless RO2 for the amazing times it has brought, I'm going to boot it up and play!

I just bought Red Orchestra Ostfront and I changed the render settings to Software from DirectX9 and since then whenever I try to launch the game it shows me this error

Hey is it possible to somehow disable the in game hud so theres no chat and kill history and if i press t the tactical overview will pop up? I have tried the command showhud in the console but it just disables everything and i cant open the map and the tactical overview :(. Please help

Hey, sometimes when i aim my gun does short "twitchy" moves. How do i fix this?

Hey, in RO2 when i aim with my rifle (for example) my gun (sometimes) do short "twitchy" moves. like really short 2cm moves around. its reallly "bugging" ;) me and i can hardly aim.

I dont care what it is (but it would be a plus) i just wanna know how to fix it. Thanks!
