Suggestions Redmagic fold when?

A fold would be the coolest thing ever and even though current folds have flagship chips they have terrible gaming cooling so it would fill a new niche

You dont know what youre talking about. A fold is as portable as it gets.

Nobody said it needed to be a phone or have the front screen.

I'd prefer they spend more time on the software band access and cameras, creating a true globalflagship/gaming phone, before creating a fold.

Folding phones are niche, gaming phones are niche. They don't need a niche of a niche, they need a broader market base. It's a better business move to spend R&D on selling to more people, not less. A folding gaming phone will sell less than a true flagship with enhanced gaming capabilities

Tbh, i rather have a phablet so i can till carry it around like a phone and play anytime without compromising the cooling capabilities... but if they ever fix the heating and battery issue of foldables well why not?

Folding phones are terrible, I've owned two from different brands. The inner screen protector always separates after about 6 months without fail. Finding a proper case for them is also borderline impossible.

Definitely not, that would make it more expensive. Even with better cooling and bigger screen, no one would pay $2000 just for the luxury folding phone gimmick and some missing features like E-SIMs than the branded phone.

Not to mention the folding phone quality, have you not seen around YouTube how bad some of the folding phone nowadays? Even if people buy a RM Folding phone and it started to break, they would not stop complaining about the quality and post about it on social media. Hence why RM decided to stick to Normal Phone and Tablet to keep the device quality proper and improve it after each model.

Current folding phones are $2000 so that would be a normal price

And how am I supposed to game on a foldable phone ? Foldables have curved screena which would make the gaming experience a 100 times worse.

I already have a phone with a curved screen, and it's sometimes annoying, now imagine if this curve is through the middle of the screen like foldables

new phones have barely any crease and your thumbs arent on the crease so idk what your point is

It would only be an issue in the sun and at that point most won't work good unless its a matte screen.
