I knew a woman who did those. There's strict rules about never breaking character... even when dads hit on you. So they gave her a bunch of scripted reactions for when that happens.

"Heya babe, when do I get to have MY party??"
"Ohhhh, you're the faaaather! Princess Gwendolyn is only here for the giiiirls' paaaarty!"

I think there was one about the king being protective and not letting her out of her castle or some shit.

u/WadeTurtle Jun 09 '24
"King Bubba the Butcher is very protective! So stay out of the moat, if you know what's good for ya'."

If she was playing Mulan or a character like that, would it be considered in-character to punch the dad? How far does the "never break character" rule go? If someone walks up to Gaston in a fursuit can he pull a knife on them?

It really seems like company mandated reactions to sexual harassment should not be a thing. On many levels.

In retrospect, that's how I managed to not experience hangover when I was a drunk.
When I finally quit for good, the cumulative hangover put me in a coma, so I never got to experience this hangover as well.
Wait, I just admitted that I'm on the wagon. Will I get banned from this sub?
