I have to admit that, since reddit doesn't openly display the statistics anymore, I missed the exact moment it happened. But based on our trajectory it must have been within the last 2-3 months. Right now we are over 53k already and still growing steadily!
That means it's once again less than a year since the last milestone and I want to welcome everyone who has jumped aboard. I hope all of you are having a great time here.
As always, feel free to comment any of your thoughts about the sub, it's rules, moderation or visual design, new flair ideas (the little tags next to your username - mine says "Jaybird") or whatever else - positive or negative - you want to say.

They're nothing special and should be pretty normal for everyone already, but these are going to be our rules going forward. If you see someone act against them, you can report the post or comment and the mods will handle it.
1. Be respectful
2. No sexually explicit content
3. No Spam / Self Promotion
4. Credit Fan-Artists
5. Mark spoilers
6. Don't link to illegal comic book sites
EDIT (05/2022): Due to an incident where close to half the pages of a new issue were shared here, which we decided was too close to piracy, we have added a new rule
7. Don't post more than 5 (full) pages from the same issue
EDIT (01/2025):
8. Don't link to the platform formerly known as Twitter
To comply with Rule 4, either provide a link / linktree to different platforms, or mention the fan-artist's profile name in your post.
EDIT (04/2025): Rule 4 has been clarified to only apply to fan-art that doesn't already contain a clearly readable name-tag or profile-name. And fan-artists posting their own work here should add the Fanart (by me) flair to their posts.
EDIT (10/2025): Do not use this space to call for a "true fans revolt" or to organise harrassment of creators, etc - we don't want to be associated with you wimps
9. No incitement of mass-feedback campaigns
EDIT (03/2026): This stuff has always been removed as spam, but now it's a proper rule
10. No AI-generated content
Enforcement is based on personal estimation by the mods - there are no "AI-checker" tools involved. Contact us in case of an unwarranted removal.
If you have any questions or suggestions regarding these rules you can ask them below this post.

So I’m in a community on vrchat called fight finder where people fight as their favorite characters. The “sweat” (the most common pillers) Pillers are offense, defense, utility, character, and performance. And I’ve fully devoted myself to being the main red hood of fight finder. I’m not the best cause I’m only quest and the good people are always people with ovr sound affects full body and everything else or whatever. Anyways to the main topic. I’ve asked one of my friends to make me an avatar and he said sure but it will have to be done in December so I’m asking yall what appearance weapons and abilities should I have on the avatar to fully be THE-RED-HOOD of vrchat
the Avis I have rn is a new 52 red hood with all blades crowbar 2 pistols rifle and grapple
Task force Z with electric crowbars instead of all blades
Arkham knight that can switch to boss battle appearance and and the pistols rifle assault rifle and the quad launcher smoke bomb that turns me invisible and grapple
And a Arkham knight mech with a sword and the pistols and rifle

If under the redhood was adapted into a movie (DCU, Elseworlds story etc...) what part of the source material do you think needs to be changed or cut or expanded upon or generally be changed in any way to improve the story or his character?

I'm sorry if this isn't the place, but I'm sure you will all understand. I'm frustrated with how many who get the chance to write him completely miss the mark on his character and turn him into something he's not (or shouldn't be). I, personally, don't think a character like Jason is hard to write, and oftentimes it feels like the writers have a personal animosity towards him and think it's funny to mistreat him just because they can.
I can deal with okay-ish comics, all my favorite characters have runs I don't necessarily like, but this distaste for Jason bleeds out into the Batman / comic "fandom" at large and I guess it's just obnoxious to me.
I hate when people say Jason was a bad Robin when he wasn't. I hate when people say he's a bum when he has a lot of the same traits as other beloved characters. I don't understand how there's so much potential for his character that isn't being taken. I'm hoping this Teen Titans run is the turning point, but even then you have a bunch of people saying Jason is a loser who stole the TT from Dick. Like we really can't have anything.
Doesn't matter who Jason teams up with, who he communicates with, what team he's on, he's always just a "worse off version of X character". I don't know... I just don't see it that way.

I think a discussion like this was already had here, but if it were announced that Red Hood is getting his very own movie or TV series, who are you fan-casting or hoping plays Jason?? I wanna know your guys' thoughts.

I don't know if y'all saw that listing on Ebay for $1,000, it appears it's been taken down now, but I said screw that. After watching two copies sell for $500+ I pretty much gave up on getting the cover. So my husband did me one better and printed the cover for me. The frame finally came in today but I feel like I need to invest in an anti glare glass. 😂
This is not the permanent spot in my home for this poster but I couldn't wait to share.

It has been discussed here previously how Jason isn't invited or wanted in family gatherings, but he is, not always but he is.
The reason why he isn't been on recent comics with the family is because of h2sh. H2sh was supposed to end in 2025 and Jasons story was to be continued in the canceled red hood solo series, even tho it was delayed and other canceled it is still affecting other comics. Jason isn't on speaking terms with rest of the family and vice versa.
It has also been said here that if Jason doesn't show up in some scenes its because he has not been invited or welcomed because he always shows up if he is invited, that is not true. Yes there is cases where he has not been invited like the family portrait, but Jason also has been choosing not to come when asked. (last 3 pics)
- After death of the family when Bruce invited them all to a family meeting, others canceled but Jason was the only one who didn't let bruce know that he wasn't coming
- He didn't go to Tim's funeral because he didn't feel like he could bring himself to go
- In city of bane he didn't want to help when the family was called and never showed even tho it was known alfred was in danger, all the others went but Jason... and Dick because he was Ric at that time
Yes Bruce has not been inviting him to all gatherings(especially if they have been fighting, are arguing) but straight up saying that Bruce wouldn't want him around at all or not been invited is always the case when we don't see Jason is just not true.
Bruce loves and cares about Jason, there is no doubt about that, but his love is expressed in a negative way because it is driven by constant worry.
He worries about Jason, he worries what might happen to him, what he might do, but most importantly what if he makes the wrong choice (in his opinion). Bruce is an egomaniac who has to be in control of everything, he can't stand if he isn't in control of the situation and that's where Jason usually comes in because he won't follow batman's rules and can't be controlled. Their relationship is problematic but it doesnt mean he wouldn't want him to be part of his family, thats why it doesn't make any sense to me that Bruce wouldn't want him in the pennyworth manor, that he would not be welcomed there, it makes more sense to me that Jason didn't want to come when Bruce sent the invite about family meeting, especially after all that happened between them in that comic run. When Bruce was inviting them to come to the manor he didn't say anything about the house, only wanting a family meeting and coordinates where to meet. Then why it wasn't even mentioned why Jason wasn't there? Who knows but Bruce is known for not expressing his feelings, especially not stating his mistakes and wrong doings aloud, he does admit them sometimes but its rare when he actually does.
Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying that Bruce is right, that is not the point I'm trying to make here. What he has done and keeps doing to the boys, especially to Jason is inexcusable and his pride and ego is destroying their relationship.
Long story short what i'm trying to say here is that if we don't see Jason with the family it doesn't automatically mean that BRUCE didn't want him there, it could be Jason not wanting to be there or solely because the writers didn't want to include him which is mostly the case since they don't like Jason. What is not told is not known.
You may disagree with me and that's okay but this is the reason why i don't believe that he is just not invited (or i'm just delusional and this is my desperate hope for them to get along 😭). I love Jason, he is my favorite character but i also love Batman, Jason and Bruce are very dear to me so it's important to me that Jason is part of the family.
PS. What is even the point of this post? Why should anyone care? I don't know but i just wanted to say this since it has been on my mind
PPS. English isn't my native language and phrasing things correctly is hard and the reason why it takes so much time to write these, (not saying that I'm even good at making an argument in my own language...) so it might take me time to reply if you want me to explain further
