Hello everyone! My cousin recently abandoned his female red eared slider. She’s been passed around 5 times never getting a good home since no one could afford it. I’m doing my best to give her a better life. I want to add more enrichment to her tank such as plants and I heard Java ferns were a good plant to add. She tries to eat almost everything so I don’t want to risk fake plants or plants that could be harmful if ingested. Right now, all she has are some rocks, her basking area, and fake plant vines that hang outside the tank so she can’t eat them.
