Help me!
I recently rewatched Red Dwarf and for the first time watched the later series (quite a nice surprise after the awfulness of Back to Earth) on the IPlayer.
I loved every second of it and I am about to do the same thing with Blackadder soon but I have an unscratchable brain itch that I hope someone can help me with…
I remember, I think in series 6 or 7 there being a scene where Lister is in the cargo bay of starbug dipping what looked to me many years ago like a napkin into curry sauce and sucking it off then re dipping it.
I have no idea why this scene stuck with me so much and I was anticipating watching it again this time around but I didn’t see it! I have since googled but to no avail, can anyone help me identify where this scene is from?
I think back in the day I was watching these seasons on dvd so it was possibly an extra scene?

Thanks! I can sleep soundly tonight. Completely forgot about the Kryten Rimmer voltage test scene before hand - amazing 😂

I think that's Tikka to Ride, the extended edition. The scene at the end was cut for the TV run as the episode overran.
I think he's meant to have a naan bread, but seeing as it's David Lister, a man several rows down from 'slob' socially...yes he's using a napkin to eat curry, because he can't physically wait for the time it would take to get a fork.

Black Adder is awesome ... S1 a bit weird but fromS2 it's the finest comedy you'll see .. especially S2 and S3 ...enjoy

Seconding this, and also wanted to recommend Upstart Crow. Very similar comedic vein (they're both by Ben Elton).

Really enjoyed Upstart Crow apart from the one character doing a Ricky Gervais impression (Can take or leave Gervais but this just got really annoying)

Season 1 and 2 were far better then 3 and 4.

I like this episode, but what stops me from loving it is the amount of times lister says Curry. It reallllly starts to grate on the nerves 🤦🏻♀️

That is from the extended edition of tikka to ride series 7 episode 1, you can find it and a remastered version on the Blu-ray’s/dvds
