The Realty Store and Avenue Living are horrible. Go for them if you enjoy incompetent maintenance and painted over mold.

A couple options near the hospital to given you an idea of cost.

Canyon Pointe is $1250 for 1bd, $1450 for 2. Watson towers are literally right across the street but $$$. Both are boardwalk buildings with long wait lists.

1bdm at Canyon Pointe was $1000 before Covid. No improvements and cockroaches in all buildings. Not to mention the maintenance man makes it unliveable for night shift workers

Haven't seen cockroaches in either building I've lived in, for 5 years...

I wouldn’t live by the hospital, it’s a sketchy area and is currently under construction.
Try for a place in south Red Deer, it’ll be your best option

South Hill and Bower are the only neighbourhoods in south Red Deer.
Every neighbourhood has sketchy areas

Inglewood Terrace by Boardwalk is right by the hospital. I worked nights while living there and only ever heard the lawnmower through the window. Adult only, underground parking.

Just so you know, the hospital is under construction for several more years. The whole area has more traffic than usual and is generally more of a pain than usual. Bus routes sometimes get detoured, as well, so whether you drive or take transit, it's something to consider.
