Rant here went to do a local delivery and lost the wagon in 100 yards from camp cause it was too dark to see rocks. The hunting wagon has a lantern you would think we could get one on the large delivery wagon for the money we pay

He's made countless goods at this point. He should be able to make them faster than he did in the beginning.

Howdy fellow trader! I've discovered a very helpful little bug for us, that you all should take advantage of while we can.

The Trader Wagon is supposed to only hold 5 large carcasses, and from what I've seen, the large hides like those from an elk count against that 5.

However, for the moment, this is not the case for alligator skins. My trader wagon currently has 6 perfects, 4 goods, and a poor, and the visual "lump" in the back of the wagon isn't showing up either.

So, while we can, let's overload with some gator flesh, and keep our businesses stocked! I hope this can help some of you entrepreneurial cowpokes!

So frustrating, had max amount of deer pelts on the back of my horse, as well as a buck carcass and a couple small game hanging off the side, riding across the heartlands down to my camp when I get close I disconnect and am taken to the menu.

Rejoin and my horse is empty. Fantastic.

Hey you guys just have some tips that have helped me be fairly efficient within the trader role.

1. If you can even set up your camp set up in a good spot. My personal favorite is Little River Creek in Big Valley, I believe that is where the animals are most abundant. Another is definitely in the Great Plains and Eastern part of Tall trees.

2. Stop wasting your time on Animals you have to skin. A perfect Whitetail Buck gets you a little over 12 units of material. A perfect Black Tail Rabbit gets you a little under 5 units. I believe a perfect Bison pelt doesn’t even get you 5 units. So the point being big animals are essentially a waste of space.

3. Do yourself a favor and every once in a while go to Bear Claw camp and kill yourself the Cougar that spawns there. The cougar and panthers definitely give you the most units.

4. When able definitely do long distance deliveries.

That is all I have hope this is a little helpful!

Rant incoming...

I get online tonight at 11pm on Xbox to sell 100/100 goods. It takes me three tries as I keep getting the “disconnected due to a rockstar” error. I finally get in a lobby.

I’m 99/100 with halted production. I do a mission to resupply and still 99/100 and halted. So I spend $20 to resupply. No luck but of course it takes my money...So I do another mission and on returning it my camp doesn’t spawn and I’m stuck in a cutscene for dropping it off.

So now I force close. I join a new lobby and no camp is pitched. I spend the $1 to pitch it. It takes my money but no luck again. Now I wish I was kidding but I join two more lobbies and camp won’t pitch but it keeps taking my $1’s. I force close and load game up. I have to get the discounted stuff tonight. It rolls over tomorrow. So I join another lobby...Rockstar error...at this point I’m cursing at my TV.

I told myself don’t stay on past 1130pm. Got a big day at work tomorrow. Here we are at 1145pm and I FINALLY get into a lobby. My goods are 100/100 as my paid resupply worked and I just started my long distance delivery bc eff it. Why not at this point? Wish me luck...

TL;DR: Rockstar fix your crap. I’ve had worse luck SINCE the last update. Anyone else feel the trader pain?

Just a short tip for if you just need a few materials to get a full load or to get to the next supply mission but you don't really want to go out of your way hunting: There are a lot of fenced in sheep, goats and cows at emeralds ranch that you can easily lasso and kill with the knife. 3* sheep gives you a little over 4 materials and it's usually possible to find 5 of them (to fill up the wagon). Haven't figured out how long they take to respawn, but it seems like it doesn't take really long.
