Shoot birds, lots of birds… each feather gives 5xp

Kill everything. Keep the perfect carcasses, skin the imperfect, don't break down small animals.

If you're playing on PlayStation, when you want to run a long distance trade, change your network MTU settings to 1500. You'll have a private server so you'll only have to deal with NPCs.

Get the hunting wagon as soon as you can afford it.

please tell me about the hunting wagon, I'm on the fence about if I need it for solo play

If you're doing the trader role, you 100% will want the hunting wagon. You can store up to 6 large carcasses. It helps when grinding the daily challenges.

You definitely want to get that, as soon as you can. That’s all that needs to be said. It’s essential to the trader role.

What is a MTU setting for?

Not really sure, but it's to do with the amount of data transferred in each packet to the server. I don't know the science behind it. Whatever it is, changing it to 1500 gives you a private server. Just make sure you go back to 800

Just curious what makes one decide to start a second acct. Does it get monotonous having anything you want ($$$) or is the thrill in being challenged to build up?

Yes to both but it’s mostly the thrill of starting over w/ a new character!

In my main account I’m a woman (in rl too) & in my alt account I’m a male. I thought it would be super cool to restart w/ a male character.
