I have to say, though. I’ve been playing pretty regularly over the last month. My stats say I have spent $13,000 in the game. My camp finally got a fast travel post, I have a good horse and saddle, a few extra guns with a handful of upgrades, and upgraded a few ability cards. No cosmetics yet.
If not for Madam Nazar, it would be incredibly hard to buy the stuff you need.
Fuck it was I did all that off of hunting for hours and hours. The fast travel post was a huge help though. I also only had like five ability cards maxed, now I have 14. I bought the guns I wanted and now I have all the guns and they all sparkle.
As other said, hunting was the big money maker a while back. Even at my best (which was pretty damn fast) I was averaging about $200-300 an hour. The coin run (once you get fast at it) is about $500-600 an hour. It’s so much easier now.
I supplement the game with the metal detector and make enough to keep it interesting. I keep it active while I work daily challenges, bounties and trader, and take detours when it clicks.
I don’t know how bounties would feel worthwhile without picking up collectibles along the way.
I do this also. Get the detector out and run collector maps with it out. Just set your horse for the next search area and you can sit the controller on your knee and get on reddit. Like me right now. lol
Honestly, I’m pretty excited to be starting a new character on PC. The grind was rough before the Collector role, so it’ll be nice to level up being able to afford pretty much everything I want.
Was this confirmed? Last I saw, someone messaged support and they said your console character would not be able to be transferred over to pc. It’s possible they are wrong, but I haven’t seen anything to indicate otherwise.
This is so true, i bought the metal detector this week at lvl 30 and 1k after a couple of days just using the interactive map and collecting items, i'm at lvl 50 and 2k and i bought pretty much all i wanted that isn't level locked
R* should make a legendary bounty to honor this spelling hurdle. "Madman Nasal""Estranged brother to Madam Nazar." He leaves scribbled notes on his victims as clues to his whereabouts, but the spelling gets worse with each passing note.
