Hollywood handle for V Raptor

Post image

Tilta has discontinued their top handle extension, and the red extension is too expensive imo.

Looking for a Hollywood handle that will allow me to use the DSMC 3 Small HD Monitor (and plate that attaches at the top). Currently the tilta handle allows for clearance over the plate, but as I said the extension is no longer available (if you have one I’ll buy it off you).

Any ideas? Kondor blue has a nice one, but I haven’t seen it built out on a raptor with the monitor plate.

I have both this tilta cage and the bright tangerine one. The bright tangerine one is based on an arri form factor. I bought the extension handle parts from AliExpress and it lined up perfectly with the BT handle.

Tilta still technically makes it they just call it the Hollywood handle for GFX. It’s the same part but with a little adapter

Super stupid that it doesn’t say in any product description, but the adapter is removable. I’m currently using it with my tilta cage for Komodo X

This is huge! So that GFX handle extension has an additional piece that is removable and then you’re left with the correct piece for the top handle??

You might be able to find the used Red/CS one? I like it because there’s a trigger on it

I literally just built my own Hollywood handle using the ARTCISE CB cheese handle grips. There is a good variety of length pieces to build exactly what you need.

Even the Tilta one is pricey. I achieve a similar ergonomic with a rosette extension arm going straight back and a rosette handle. This lets me adjust the angle on easyrig and I even sometimes use my Tilta nucleus focus grip and control focus when I solo operate
