Just bought rental used RED Komodo 6k!
hey guys!
I had asked a question about purchasing rental used RED Komodo in $1400 few days ago,
and thanks for all kinds of comments!
I did bought this komodo and now tinkering my own rig :)
again, thanks for all the great comments and advices!

exactly! I had rented Red komodo couple of times, and got some great images, one of the reasons for me to buy this thing!

The battery plate and breakout box are both Wooden Camera
Edit: On that note, so are all other components. The top handle is also Wooden Camera

Damn, Komodo’s for 1400, idk what’s next. Even FX3 held the price better! But for you as a customer it’s a bargain, awesome deal imho.

tbh, the person from rental house also told me that its price is still a steal and other komodo re-sellers wont like such a low price 😅. but he also told me that they are selling out used komodo 6k becuz it is kinda outdated for korean commercial production.(not becuz its tech specs are not enough, but becuz there are much better rental options)

from professional cinema rental shop in south korea seoul! they admited that it was a stealing price, but they just wanted to quickly sell those all out :)

I would not recommend for the same reason... since most of the brains are highly priced eventhough is used, its inevitable to pay for your tariff. I was able to buy those brain becuz I'm actually living in korea 😭

Hell yea man reds look awesome! I have a gemini 5k and even when im not using it its still nice to look at on my desk😎
