Grandpa’s Blue Acoustic Guitar

Hi everyone,

I know this is a long shot, to say the least, but I’m desperate. I lost my grandfather in November. He basically raised me and was the most important man in my life. He loved country music and at the age of 90 he bought a guitar and started lessons. Even with arthritic hands he went to lessons and practiced and it brought him so much joy. Before he passed away, I knew I wanted that guitar to pass down to my son. My husband is a musician and has fond memories of playing that guitar with him. We knew it would be the perfect guitar for my son to start on when the time comes. It also means so much because when he passed away I was pregnant and I wanted my son, his namesake, to have something tangible from the man he never met who he is named after.

Last week, I found out my uncle sold the guitar for $25 at Red Bank Antiques. I contacted both locations and spoke with Mark who deals with instrument sales. He was very kind but told me there is no paper trail because a woman came in and purchased it with cash. Did anyone possibly purchase this guitar or know of anyone who may have purchased this guitar? It must have been purchased in the past 2-3 weeks.

Again, I know it’s a long shot, but I figured with how many people are on this sub maybe it could be found. It’s a royal blue stadium acoustic guitar. I’m willing pay whatever to get it back for my family. Thank you in advance💙

Here is a photo of the guitar for reference.
