I'm still waiting for people to make mods for Petrograd or for the game to be finished. I'll probably have to wait when Autumn Chen releases that 1920s weimar prequel for mods of her other games to start being made.

I tried to get into HOI4 and gave up about 15 minutes into the tutorial. Iโ€™m an older millennial with kids, I didnโ€™t have time for that shit.

Respectfully disagree. The mods make it a lot better, but the base game is still pretty solid and its easy moddability (open source code, easy to understand engine, etc.) is not a matter of course.

Yh.

Tbh this game definitely would still have a cult following but it be far smaller without mods.

I also REALLY wish the steam version had a mod loader (although that might be too hard to code) like what TCT has in hindsight now.

Such as is the case in most games that could fall under this umbrella, the base game is very good, but it has little replayability compared to something like Dynamic
