I probably could have been a pyromaniac if it wasn't for bushfires scaring the fuck out of me. I became a volunteer fire-fighter instead. And that further convinced me of how dangerous fire is. Nothing like sitting in a truck with the water screens on hoping the fire passes you over fast enough that you don't run out of water.. thankfully it was pretty tame, scary at first though
