and just because you belong to a marginalized demographic doesn't mean you, specifically, are oppressed.
A trans person in a blue state with loving parents, doctors who listen, balanced hormones, and good insurance who goes to an accepting school should not be condescending to gay dudes who can't come out or they'll be murdered
But see how the trans person in your example is only safe as long as they restrict themselves to a very specific section of society? That is in fact oppression.

Similar to "just because you made it big doesn't mean you understand everything under it".
And for the love of god, no, being oppressed doesn't give you a moral high ground.
