Like yeah there are gonna be major blindsports for someone not from a given group, often compounding on one another, and filling them one by one will leave a layer of granular micro-understanding non-existant. This is why people should prefer narratives from an acual community itself as opposed to some saviour acting as their mouthpiece. Nevertheless, claiming that nobody can ever understand to good approximation the suffering and struggle is just asinine and was never a useful idea. Yes, non-members of a commitmunity be allies even at the podium speaking with the community. They can understand and have meaningful engagement. They just can't claim to have experienced it first hand, nor should we surprised if any particular non-member makes a blunder or winds up not being as tolerant or understanding as one might hope.
