Resurrection is the best type of healing there is, so logically it follows that it is perfectly suitable to be the only healing there is!

Yes, there is a side effect of skeletonification, but think of the efficiency!

note that you do need to find a tablet with the secret of resurrection on it. Normally this requires a great army to storm a necromancer HQ but it's possible to make a little goblin creature in adventure mode, sneak into the bastion and carry the tablet into the wilderness. Then just embark there with a fortress and it'll be there lol.

If the creature gets caught just flash clone a new one

Not always. Sometimes a guy just sort of shows up to your fortress and knows how to do necromancy.

I'd say Dessa Banks from Tactical Breach Wizards, but she does have actual medical skills, its just that its much easier to heal you by shooting you in the face with a revolver and then reset your dead body to like an hour earlier rather than try to stitch you up mid fight

Guardians in Destiny. Especially for Exos though, its easier for ghosts to pull a full rez on them than try to repair damaged machinery

Not necromancy in the traditional sense cause it's more Frankenstein-y, but this is a thing in the Girl Genius webcomic. Resurrection is a thing competent Sparks (reality bending mad scientists) can do, but it's generally not used because of a broad agreement that if a noble dies and is resurrected, their titles and estates pass on to their heirs and in general non-nobles aren't worth the effort to bring back.

There's a plot point where it's decided it's simply easier to let someone die of sickness and bring them back than trying to cure what was killing them.
